Connect & Act Members' Meeting
Brussels, BelgiumWFTO-Europe invites all members to our “Connect and Act” members’ meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on the 6th and 7th of June in Brussels.
Day 1 will feature an open, public session in the morning focusing on the role of mission-led business models in pursuing social and climate justice on a global scale. In the afternoon, we will hold a closed session on Northern Fair Trade producers and the concept of Domestic Fair Trade, followed by parallel training sessions for sharing best practices on the Internal Monitoring System and exploring innovative solutions on Retail Models and their evolution.
For day 2 we will be joined by Rain Morgan, Chair of the WFTO Global Working Group on Fair Price, Fair Wages and Peter Williams, the consultant who have conducted our research on the Fair Payment Process. He will share his findings and recommendations for making the Process easier for members to follow and implement. After this training session, we will provide an open space for you to gather into smaller groups to focus on collaboration on topics of particular interest to you. After lunch the AGM will be held, where we will also dedicate time on clarifying and discussing the new governance structure of the Regions and what it means exactly for members. Here we would appreciate your input for what kind of support you would like in particular to receive from the WFTO-Europe regional office team.
