Connect & Act Members' Meeting
Brussels, BelgiumWFTO-Europe invites all members to our “Connect and Act” members’ meeting and Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on the 6th and 7th of June in Brussels.
Day 1 will feature an open, public session in the morning focusing on the role of mission-led business models in pursuing social and climate justice on a global scale. In the afternoon, we will hold a closed session on Northern Fair Trade producers and the concept of Domestic Fair Trade, followed by parallel training sessions for sharing best practices on the Internal Monitoring System and exploring innovative solutions on Retail Models and their evolution.
For day 2 we will be joined by Rain Morgan, Chair of the WFTO Global Working Group on Fair Price, Fair Wages and Peter Williams, the consultant who have conducted our research on the Fair Payment Process. He will share his findings and recommendations for making the Process easier for members to follow and implement. After this training session, we will provide an open space for you to gather into smaller groups to focus on collaboration on topics of particular interest to you. After lunch the AGM will be held, where we will also dedicate time on clarifying and discussing the new governance structure of the Regions and what it means exactly for members. Here we would appreciate your input for what kind of support you would like in particular to receive from the WFTO-Europe regional office team.

Public event: "The role of mission-led business models in pursuing global social and environmental justice”
Brussels, BelgiumOn 6th June as part of the “Connect & Act” members’ meeting and in the context of the Trade Fair Live Fair EC project, WFTO-Europe in collaboration with Fair Trade Advocacy Office (FTAO) will host the public event “The role of mission-led business models in pursuing global social and environmental justice”. The event will take place from 09:30-12:30 CEST in Maison des Associations Internationales on Rue Washington 40, 1050 Brussels.

"G7 Youth"Summit Closing Event
Paris, FranceFrom the 9th to the 13th of June, the French presidency of the G7 brings together the "G7 Youth", 40 delegates from the 7 most developed countries, to hold their summit and conduct their negotiations. On June 13, they will deliver their diagnosis and proposals to governments and heads of state before a panel of personalities gathered at ESCP Europe.Max Havelaar France and the Open Diplomacy Institute invite you to the closing event of the summit.
